Generation One
As odd as the term sounds Generation one is the most appropriate term for those who have been living in L.A. for over ten years. Many originally came here to go to school or because they wanted a new start in life and stayed. A person from the first generation has many stories to tell and depending on the species they are their viewpoints may be skewed to their nature. Many vampires and werewolves would consider themselves Generation One but then many are older than the city of Los Angeles.
Predominantly Generation One refers to the Lovelaces and the Sinclaires. Two families who have helped stop the tide of evil as it washed up on the shore. The Lovelaces, having connections to the witch and vampire communities as well as the werewolves can usually point others where they need to go while the Sinclaires are now guardians and guides after the death of their Patriarch Reginald. There are still remnants of other families wandering around like the occasional Evans or Landers. The older members of the police force certainly know more than they are telling and one thing is for certain, anyone who has lived here for long ends up getting involved. Now, the first generation must train the Tetrad for the coming struggles while still holding true to their own beliefs and the memory of the ones they lost.
Nothing in L.A. stays the same and the funerals continue. Those of the first generation know this better than anyone else as they bury old friends from the last great attack and struggle to protect their children so they may reach adulthood.
