Taking a deep breath, Mari exhaled and teleported into Trent's home. She knew she needed to tell him what had happened with Philip and she worried about his reaction. She felt a flush of shame and hung her head as she bit her lip and glanced about, "Trent, are you here?" she said as she moved about the home. "I got back as soon as I could..." her voice trailed off softly as she walked around.
It felt odd moving about like a normal human being. To have her body work the way it was supposed to, well how other people thought it should, all people walked as they should after all...
She sighed, this line of thinking wasn't helping, she was a nervous wreck. She moved a bit like a hesitant bird. As if moving too suddenly would trip her. She felt like she was all arms and legs. She didn't lose her balance as easily though, now if she could get over the jitters.

If anyone could see Trenton now, they wouldn't believe that he was the same being that had just slaughtered a hell hound. Instead, all they would see was an extremely worried human in a club on the phone, trying to locate his lover. "I don't care what you have to do! Just find her or I'll rip out your throat!" he shouted, a growl creeping into his voice. In disgust he slammed the phone down, accidentally smashing the device. Oh, wonderful Trent. That's real helpful, he thought to himself with a roll of his eyes. With an unnecessary sigh, he went to the front of the desk and looked at the man behind the counter. "Call the number 555-3463-2255 and tell them that Trenton Moore is buying you a new phone---the exact same model as the one that he broke. After this is completed, you will not remember me making a phone, or you making the phone call or that you even needed a new phone. The phone is the same as it always was," he said and the man dully repeated what he had been told. Trenton then left the building as the man did as he had been compelled to do.
When he finally got to his own home, Trenton's eyes shone with relief as his nostrils caught Marina's familiar scent. Oh thank goodness, he thought to himself. She was all right. At least, as far as he could smell. "Marina," he exclaimed after opening the door. "Are you all right, Bella?" he asked, as he blurred over to her and began checking her for bruises.

"I am. Philip took me to his place..." she said softly, "I changed there...it was awful. I didn't know what to do it hurt..." she shook a bit at the memory, "I wasn't in control of myself I wanted to do things that I haven't wanted to do before..." her eyes welled up with tears, "I tried not to hurt anyone..." she whispered and flushed, "Philip h-helped me through it. He kept me distracted so I didn't try to eat anyone." She bit her lip and she began to sob, "I'm sorry...I-I..." her voice broke and she exhaled, "I don't know why I did it. Maybe it was because the change hurt so much...Maybe it was because I was so tired...I just was exhausted and I was afraid to go home...I...s-slept with him..." she curled into a ball, "I'm sorry. I know you have every right to hate me."
She tried to curl further into herself, her body moving in a more natural fashion, her braces gone, "I never wanted to hurt anyone." her head bowed as she looked at the ground, shame causing her cheeks to flush crimson. "When I woke up I changed back to an angel and w-was called up there. Because I hadn't killed anyone they healed me."

Trenton smiled in relief when Marina stated that she was all right, but his eyes darkened at her admission that Phillip had taken her to his place. She was his mate, not that dog's! All right. Calm down. She doesn't need you getting upset, he reminded himself and he forced himself to keep quiet as she went on, saying that she had changed which had hurt and that it had been awful because she didn't know what to do. "That sounds awful," he murmured.
She then went on, stating that she had wanted to do things that she had never wanted before and that she had tried not to eat anyone, which Phillip had helped her with by distracting her. If his heart was still beating, it would've broke. He knew how sensitive she was so of course the thought of her hurting someone would upset her. "You were turning into a type of predator. The instinct was only natural for the moment," he assured. To his surprise, she began to cry and apologize for something. "Bella, what is it? What's wrong?" he asked in concern. Had that dog hurt her? She started once more and though she was somewhat incoherent, Trenton got the gist of it: they had slept together. Trent clenched a fist and he had to fight to keep his features normal even as he felt fangs dying to make an appearance. She had let that---that---that dog touch her when she would barely let him kiss her? He was the one who had marked her---claimed her---to keep her from being killed by others of his kind and he always respected her boundaries, and yet she went off and became intimate with the ex who had always hurt her?
At her apology, he closed his eyes briefly. "Marina...you hardly ever let me touch you but with him you---" he cut himself off before he could say something that he'd regret. He watched as she curled into herself, trying to make herself smaller as she repeated her statement that she hadn't wanted to hurt anyone. "Well, as the humans would say "epic fail"," he spat out angrily. However, he was glad that she had been healed by the other angels. "Marina, I am sorry. I---I cannot---" once more, he cut himself off, trying to get back in control. "You need to leave before I say or do something I will regret," he finally told her.

"Every bone in my body broke and reshaped itself. Every organ even my skin..." she shuddered in memory, "It was like being tortured." she hugged herself and rocked a bit as the memory brought up some phantom pain.
"No, Trent its not something I can forgive myself for. And I know you probably won't forgive me either.." she said as her voice broke softly. she wiped the tears from her eyes and felt her stomach twist in knots so tight she felt like it was going to turn inside out from the force of her own self loathing. It didn't matter that she didn't smell like Philip or that she was standing without having to make adjustments for her spasms.
"I know. I understand. I'm sorry." she said as she winced at his words. He was right there were no excuses at the end of the day for what she had done and so she didn't try to explain it away. She just rose and went to teleport away silently.

Trenton's eyes clouded as Marina described the change. That is horrible. How did she withstand that? he wondered. From what he understood, even the most experienced wolves had trouble with the transformation, and Marina wasn't even a werewolf by nature, which meant that the transformation had probably been even more painful. At her claim that she could never forgive herself for what had happened and that he wouldn't forgive her either, his eyes clouded even more. He wasn't sure what to say to that.
After telling her to leave, Marina responded that she understood and apologized. Trenton watched as she rose and went off, probably to teleport out. A small part of him wanted to go after her and apologize. But why should you? She's the one who cheated! She's the one who led you on! She chose the dog! She wants him a larger part responded. And that was the part that he chose to listen to. He wasn't going to stop Marina from leaving. If she wanted her ex that badly, she could have him. From now on, she was none of his concern.
But wait. If he left Marina all alone, other vampires would try to stake their claim. He couldn't let that happen. "Marina!" he called as he flung open the door and then raced down the halls, not caring if someone saw him using his vampire speed.

She stopped and was relieved that she didn't fall over and humiliate herself any more. Her eyes were wide and her breath was stuck in her throat as she looked into his eyes sadly. She felt badly, she didn't know what he could possibly want. "Yes, Trenton?" she said softly. Her voice a choked whisper as she blinked and exhaled. Her face was flushed and her nose was red.
She clutched a handkerchief. It was a throwback to a simpler time but she was worried about leaving anything of herself behind nowadays. She wanted to be sick. Her head was throbbing with stress and she was starting to get a migrain that would peel the paint off the walls. She said none of this as she looked up at him. She just coughed into her handkerchief and wanted to collapse when she got home.

Trent gave out an unnecessary sigh of relief as Marina turned and faced him. However, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt at the sadness on her face. He had caused that. He had hurt her when he had sworn he would never do so. He had broken his promise. "I am so sorry, Bella. I should not have said any of that. It was uncalled for," he told her, glancing at the hankerchief. He wasn't sure why but that little piece of cloth reminded him of something. But what? Then, he gave himself a mental shake and turned back to Marina. "I was---I am an idiot. You know this quite well. I should not have gotten angry at you," he told her. And it was true. Marina was a big girl, capable of making her own decisions and doing whatever she wanted to do. "I am sorry," he said once more.

"You have every right to be angry at me. I don't know what came over me but its no excuse for what I did. I'm sorry I hurt you. I hated being a werewolf. The loss of control and the loss of who I was was horrifying. I would never want to be a werewolf." she said heatedly. She dabbed at her eyes lightly and inhaled softly.
"You have every right to be angry at me, Trent. I hurt you and I understand why you are angry. I'm just as mad at myself as you are. My life has just gotten crazy. I mean Philip showing up after 10 years and Logan coming back from being banished to Purgatory? I never would have expected that. I also never expected to be a werewolf for 24 hours. I'm immune to the virus. I never thought that I would have to protect myself or mentally prepare for something like that." she touched his arm, "Trent, I have no plans to sleep with him or get back together with him. Its why I came here I swear. I'm sorry." she pleaded with him.

Trenton listened as Marina apologized, saying that he had every right to be angry and that she didn't know what had come over her though it wasn't any excuse for what she had done. "I know. You must have been extremely frightened," he said after she told him that she hadn't liked being a werewolf because of the loss of control and that she wouldn't want to be a werewolf.
Then she went on to repeat that he had every right to be angry at her as she had hurt him and that everything had gotten crazy with Philip returning after ten years as well as Logan returning from Purgatory. She then went on saying that she hadn't expected to be turned into a werewolf as she was immune to the virus and that she hadn't been prepared to deal with it. "I can't even imagine," he murmured. And he couldn't. He never had to worry about something like that.
At her confession that she had no plans to sleep with or get back together with Philip, Trenton managed to throw her a smile. "That is good to know," he said. Then, "Well. Good night." With that, he turned and headed off. He wasn't really sure what else he could say to her. He just...he wasn't sure if he wanted to feel this kind of pain anymore...

She nodded to his statement. Ducking her head shyly in shame. She gripped her handkerchief tightly. " I was." she agreed softly, not feeling as if turning inside out made up for what she had done. She nodded as he agreed with her. She really didn't know what else to say. Exhaling softly she nodded, " Goodnight, Trenton." she whispered softly and turned away to teleport home, sobbing into her pillow for all the pain she had caused inadvertently. (OOC Thread tied off )
