First Diana's eyes shot back to Sedaiyus when he apologized to her and she quickly glanced to Trent when she heard how he reacted to it, which made her smile a bit again as she looked back at Sed. 'I'll take your word for it, for now you haven't caused too much trouble, but then again... I get the feeling from you that there's something that you came over to discuss?' She asked him for a moment as she raised her eyebrows. Her eyes then went to Marina who asked her if everything was alright and she gave her a smile that told her that she shouldn't worry too much. 'Just some business honey, but if there's a problem, well that depends...' She said as her eyes went back to Lidija.
'I do not presume anything.' Diana said sharply because she didn't see it that way but kept her eyes locked on the newcomer for now. 'But I can say the same of you, do not presume to know anything exactly of who I am or what I do.' She said in advance in case more was to follow. 'Besides, small corner of the world? L.A. is one of the biggest and most vibrant cities in the world right now, even more so in the last ten years, and have you even kept track or looked up how many vampires from over the world have joined our coven instead of the ones they were in? Or instead of the mindless just killing spree lives they had?' She asked before she shook her head and then smiled proudly too as she thought about that for a moment. 'There's nothing intriguing about a decease started by Mankind or by the undead zombies that came skulking around and killed our people when they fed...' Diana said, her eyes narrowing again as she thought back to it and how awful it was to see it happen to her vampires, especially in case this sudden strange newcomer would get the insane idea of trying to find more about it and use it, especially now that it was as good as gone finally.
'They started under Noah's, the former Elder, doing it all on his own and then before he died as he saw in a vision, asked me to take over, you know how much mess I have had to clean up after that? How primitive the general vampire was again back then? It's like we're some diagram of the economy just constantly waving up and down without end.' She said with an annoyed sigh, more to the situation than against something about Lidija at that moment, because if she could, she'd rather get an ally out of her even than an enemy. 'Then why do it in such a manner that is like you are on the offensive against us?' Diana asked, simply stating how it had come off to her when she told her that she hadn't come her to challenge or put blame on anyone, that she had just wanted to meet the King and Queen, and now she had. 'And now that you have?' She couldn't help but ask curiously, what her opinion was now honestly.
Diana's eyes however narrowed again as her maternal instinct got the upper hand of her again when Lidija pointed her attention on Mari and how and the way in which she addressed her, with that she had questions for her too, but that it could best be for another time, in a more private locale. 'Mari is my daughter, and she might be an Angel now, but that doesn't mean that I'll just let you talk to her like that and keep me out of the loop with whatever questions it are that are burning your tongue with anticipation.' Diana said as she kept her index finger up in a somewhat warning manner. This narrowed eye view continued as she listened to how Lidija continued how she was an ancient, that she had traveled across the sea to see to it that their kind remained strong there. 'The pest problem is true.' She said simply without any doubt, because there was no lie in the pest and virus problem, even if she looked as hard as she wanted. 'At least, it was, around two years ago it subsided a bit, this year there haven't been more than a handful of reports, we ARE growing in strength again, and let me make sure you get this straight and good into your hearing: If you check, you'll see that this coven, is at least one of the biggest in this country, even with all the problems, I have made sure of that.' She told her clearly too, not letting this chick, even if she was an ancient, something Diana dis respect in the end deep inside, she would not let her undermine her authority and doubt everything that she had worked so hard on and toward, and was still doing, and then even more so if it was talking down of her, Trent and/or Mari and her vampires.
