This was it, a den filled with the usual debauchery of her children, Blood Lust. Inside she could almost feel their angst, their thirst. It was a welcoming feeling after all of these years, even if she was nothing but a ghost to her kind. In fact, the idea of their being a beginning, a true beginning, had faded into obscurity. No one knew where they came from for sure, just that they have been integrated into mankind for as long as anyone could remember. Even Lidija herself couldn't remember where she came from, how it happened, the trauma of it all was locked away so deep in her blood memories that it would take another vampire's curiousity to awaken such things.
Pulling her hood tighter around her face, she pushed the doors open, and was instantly greeted by the scent of fresh blood flowing beneath the skin of mortals that were lured here. The scent was intoxicating, were she a younger vampire she would not have been able to help but find the source of it. She had a purpose now, a mission, and she had to see to it that she located her marks before the weeks end. They were called the King and Queen of L.A. apparently, Elders given control of the covens that decided to call this city their home, which made her laugh when she had first heard it. There was only one true ruler of their kind, but she would let the others have their heirchy and their Vampire politics, none of this truly interested her.
Drifting towards the bar, she did her best to blend in, though her skin was a very pale pearlescent colour in comparison to the younger vampires who fed and were able to gain a flush colour to their skin. Lowering her hood, she would slouch a bit, using the dim lighting to mask her features as much as possible, though her pale grey eyes were hard not to notice. Her eye colour was fairly unique, almost a white in colour really. Locking eyes with the bartender, they stared at each other for a moment, as if time had stood still, and then with a sort of wordless understanding the bartender scampered off to find her something to drink.
It was all about information now, she needed to find someone who knew something about the pair of them. Someone who was willing preferably to share their knowledge, as she didn't want to extract it by force. She was anything but a brute, however if she had to she would use excessive force to get what she wanted, taking the memories from you through your blood. Turning around on her stool, she leaned back against the counter, sizing up the crowd for someone who seemed interesting, connected. Looking around, she would notice that the old methods still rung true for getting attention, and so she would undo a few strings on her corset.

Sedaiyus didn't make it a habit to interact much with vampires. Unless there was something specific to a case he found them to be quite vague and boring. He had learned much of them along time ago but since then they have failed to peak an interest for him being perhaps even more predictable than humans. These creatures survived for millenia if they were not destroyed yet they never seemed to change, evolve, and to Sedaiyus surprise him. But circumstances would rise from time to time where he would have to be within their presence. In this case it involved a vampire who had gone out of his way to try and recreate a modern jack the ripper infamy. Sedaiyus had a pretty good idea who the vampire was but didn't make it a habit of killing needlessly. In this case Sedaiyus deducted a more reasonable solution to avoid conflict. He would go to the vampire hierarchy and present his case to the cities king. When dealing with someone like Trenton it was actually better to ask permission than for forgiveness. Sedaiyus did not need a target on his head for what might appear the hunting of vampire. With their kings permission or at least aware of Sedaiyus's case and intent he could avoid any miss communication and trouble. Sedaiyus had noted vampiric influence in his twin brother Gabriel Harts life. Gabriel had a hedonistic rival who was a vampire whom they sported women in a ridiculous competition every month or so. Gabriels first and only true love was also a very old vampire who tore Gabriels heart out, figuratively, effectively breaking Gabriel emotionally. Sedaiyus didn't find any reason to feel any one way towards the race himself. It was either buisness or pleasure there was nothing personal about it. Sedaiyus had been keeping careful observation on many in the club. Most were drinking, allot of humans were there caught up in pleasing what most saw as god like beings offering their blood, others simply being played not realizing the reality of their situations or that they were even conversing with vampire. Not much had changed in three hundred years, just bad music, and more wasted technology used as tools. It was amazing what a vampire could do with a facebook and cell phone, the human networking they could span. Sedaiyus didn't see Trenton right away, he figured he could wait not being in any hurry. He made his way to the bar not particularly pleased with a couple vampiress that tried to seduce him. Vampires generally didn't have a taste for demon blood it just didn't mix well but allot of them had a fetish for sleeping with demons and Sedaiyus himself was a incubus which only amplified their desire when they got close. Sedaiyus put on a fake smile and politely rejected them remaining kind and considerate. He usually remained respectful and logical in situations like this as he was ultimately intruding in their realm and wouldn't need unnecessary attention and conflict from angry vampire being in their club and all. Sedaiyus asked for a simple glass of water. The bar tender raised a brow at Sedaiyus for a moment as few demons would walk into the club of the vampire king of the city simply for some water. But the bartender didn't question him and got him his glass. Sedaiyus took a sip and looked around. There was an unusual presence there, a vampire that was not like the others. Why would a vampire want to hide themselves from their own kind, were this vampires characteristics truly so unsubtle in comparison? She certainly adapted effectively to the environment, her slightly undone corset was a obvious attention grabber. But Sedaiyus was interested in other reasons now that had little to do with lust. Sedaiyus cautiously approached the vampiress. Trying to read her body language, movements, any physical features he could glimpse. He whispered softly to himself "How interesting." Before getting close enough to converse. Sedaiyus spoke intellectually and respectfully as he usually did always calm and calculating. His curiosity however was quite apparent especially in his eyes, his eyes revealed all, the need to unravel this puzzle. "I beg a pardon miss, I do not mean to perturb you but I couldn't help but be drawn and fell victim to my more inquisitive nature when spotting someone as captivating as you appear to be. Would it be rude of me to request where you might be from?" Sedaiyus asked purposefully. Sedaiyus observed carefully the vampires reaction and response. "To avoid any discourteous manner, I am Sedaiyus Nikopol, you of course need not tell me your name if you do not wish to." Sedaiyus stood wearing a somewhat simplistic yet still stylish get up. A fairly expensive coat but wearing simple jeans and a button up under his coat too.

How interesting indeed, the person who's attention that she grabbed was not a Vampire at all, that much she could tell. So then what, was it someone's human pet that had wandered astray? Perhaps, though maybe she would find something useful from this person, even if it was nothing more than food. Turning to face him slowly, she cast her lazy gaze upon him as she examined him, every detail. Her pale grey eyes gave off a faint shimmer of interest as they seemed to glow in the dim lighting. Crossing one leg over the other, she smirked softly. "Curiousity kills in such places. I would be more careful about wandering." she said, as if she were speaking to someone's human.
Even more interesting, he was curious as to where she had come from. It seemed that it would not be her own that first took notice that she stood out, she did her job well then if it took an outsider to notice. "It would not be rude, no, but I do not know if I can give you a satisfying answer. I have traveled here from Romania, though, that is not where I truly come from." she said, flashing her fangs in a half smile. "Does something about me stand out to you then? A dozen other vampires you could converse with and you chose the one hiding in the corner." she commented, raising a glass to her lips to drink.
"Sediayus." she repeated, if you listened close enough one could detect a sort of echo. When she spoke, it was as if there were two voices trying to do so, however one was much softer, more of an echo. "Lidija will do, if you must call me anything at all. Is there something I can perhaps.. help you with?" she asked, her words slow, careful. She was also trying her best to use the right words it seemed, as she had learned english in a hurry. "If you allow me to interrogate you, I might allow you to do the same. Does this sound like it might interest you?" she asked.
Placing her glass back upon the counter, she searched the crowd once more for the man she had seen reflected in the blood of others. She had performed a small tasting on her own kind, unaware to them, and managed to glean an image of the so called vampire king. She would see him for herself, this was the place to start her search, yet it had yielded very few fruits. "What exactly are you doing here, if you are not a vampire, nor does it appear you belong to anyone here?"

Sedaiyus had awe in his eyes but his face remained calm. This was really the extent of his excitement but it was clear he had stumbled onto something of value to himself. Sedaiyus replied to Lidija's comment about curiosity "Yes, indeed it does. However the things most worthwhile in this world often walk hand in hand with death. Nothing of value can come without risk. I think I like my chances here anyways." Sedaiyus caught a faint glimpse of Lidija's eyes. "How remarkable. Surreal beauty unmeasured by any words this I can be sure of. The eyes of a perfect predator, entrancing, and transcending any vampiric elegance I have seen in my age." Sedaiyus tried to stay focus but he had stumbled upon something more fascinating than anticipated. "You are not sure you can tell me exactly where you are from? This would indicate you either cannot remember or choose to simply not tell me for some reason. The latter seems most likely but the first cannot be ruled out just yet. Not being able to tell me would mean you either had some form of injury affecting your mind, magical or physical, or you simply cannot remember because or something more simple...age. Given your races resilience to injury both physical and magic the latter again is most likely. Now lets review why you would withhold such information willingly or not. I wouldn't bet that anyone is forcing you to not tell me because frankly I believe you are beyond the vampire here perhaps in the entire city. You didn't appear to be lying when you answered me but with your kind it is harder for me to tell. Perhaps withholding it because you need something from me? I am speculating too much, I don't like insinuating I digress." Sedaiyus eyed Lidija over once more. "Your movement, perfect silk like skin, wondrous silvery eyes, graceful movement, calculated movements like we are all chess pieces on a board and even the king is moved around at the digression of the player, the player being you. Yes it makes more sense now, you are incredibly old arn't you Lidija? Special among you kind because of this too? I know the king of vampire here is but a few centuries older than I am. He is not the eldest vampire I have met, yet not even those hold the characteristics that you do. You cannot tell me where you are truly from because you cannot indeed remember."
Sedaiyus grinned at Lidija. "You ask if something stands out to me. Perhaps standing out isn't accurate as I tend to see things most do not even among your kinds enhanced sight. For more than three centuries your kind has bored me so, never changing, never evolving, never breaking away from the same predictability I find in most races. But you. You are new, you are unique, you are a puzzle that I find most divine because you represent something to me you probably couldn't understand. A douzen other vampires? Try a city full of vampire I could converse with, none of which could capture my appeal and illude my understanding as you have. As far as I am concerned, you are the one and only vampire that I have met that I might actually be weary of, all others hold little threat. But at the same time you are one of the few that escape my ability to read you which makes you a gracious gift I don't plan to waste." Sedaiyus took another sip of water then placed his glass down smiling in a friendly manner towards Lidija. "You are here to see Trenton, the declared king of vampire within this city arn't you? I have already deduced you are older than him, perhaps you are a leader above even him? I am not positive on the complete structure of vampire hierarchy you are a secretive group when need arises for it. It seems we are here for similar reasons. I too sought out the king of vampire of this city but perhaps you can help me instead. I seek more answers that is certain, if allowing you to question me is all I must do to gain such a chance than I am yours to demand what ever it is you wish. Ask away." Sedaiyus thirst to know more grew the longer he conversed with Lidija. It was his greatest weakness, the fascination with the unknown, the need to solve the most remarkable of mysteries and puzzles especially the ones that couldn't or shouldn't be unraveled. He was allowing himself to be seized in the power Lidija now held over him from his own curious nature and not even notice he was doing it. But perhaps it was worth it. Sedaiyus didn't foresee what could possibly come from pushing through to the truth about Lidija and how dangerous it could be if he tried to push without permission. Time would tell. But Sedaiyus was a bit more delighted he had made his way to the vampire club after all. Besides It wasn't like Sedaiyus was doing anything wrong. He had done well keeping to his code his father made for him. The code that guided his actions when protecting the balance between good and evil and helped prevent his demonic nature from harming innocent individuals or consuming the small amount of humanity within him.

"Brave. There doesn't seem to be an air of naivety around your words either, someone with experiance. More experiance than mortals can muster. You must not be cattle." she said slowly, finally understanding that she was dealing with something more than just some curious bleeder. She would have to be careful with him, though something told her that he wouldn't try anything. He was equally curious about her origins, what she might know, and somehow his deductions were all astonishingly correct so far. "You flatter me, though I do not fall victim to such things so easily. Still, it is an effective approach." she stated casually, her ego was slow to start but often burned out of control once it was ignited.
She was intrigued to say the least, she would have never thought someone would be able to piece together so much from so little. She would have many, many requests for this man in the days to come. There was a quiet laugh, which actually startled a nearby patron as their sensitive hearing most likely picked up the duality in her voice and figured her some kind of demon. The vampires around her gave her a lot of breathing room now. "It is the first, I believe. Unless I am forgetting something I should know. It is even hard for us to recall everything. I remember being asleep, but I could hear your world around me. Such a noisey, bothersome place, yet you became interesting to me. Something is happening in your new world, I intend to figure out what." she said.
"They have grown weak over time, shadows of what they truly are. Those you see in this room, co-existing rather than ruling. They were once beautiful, powerful, but now they cower in the dark." she said, hissing the last part spitefully. With her absence their place in the world had become pitiful in her eyes. "I am harder to read, as you put it, because I have long since forgotten my ties to humanity. I do not emulate their emotions, unless it is on purpose to blend in." she said, which showed. For the most part her expression was blank as she spoke, unless she threw in a laugh to show she was pleased with his comments.
Standing now, she would extend her hand for his. If he offered it, she would lead them to a booth. "If you would accept, I would see for myself what you know with my own eyes. Might I drink from you, Sedaiyus. I give you the courtesy of asking, something no others have had the luxury of this night." she said, sliding into the booth. "Once I have my answers, I will give you yours. Whether you can handle them, well we shall see won't we?" she asked, another short, odd laugh would follow. "Perhaps I might even show you."

Sedaiyus finished his glass of water as Lidija replied to his inquiries. He held a prideful grin when finding his deductions to be accurate as usual even for such a challenging individual as Lidija. Sedaiyus cared little for the vampire populace but what he had gathered of them wasn't as disappointing as Lidija made them out to be. Then again Sedaiyus had no knowledge of what they once were nor how far they might have fallen. "I won't pretend to know the glory of your race or what they once were. I can only speculate from how you speak of them. I cannot disagree with everything you have said of their apparent diminishing in social standing among the races of this world but surely you must have all the facts before you judge them so harshly. Humans are still as fragile as they ever were, vulnerable, and naive. But of all the races, they seem to still manage to surprise even me the most. They have grown a long ways from what they once were. They have weapons and technology that threaten your race. They are not the scared running cattle you once saw them as. If the vampire and all their might rise up, no matter the chances of victory, the humans would rise against them and though I am not a tactician, I would give them this much; they'd have a chance. So really you don't cower an coexist, you adapt and survive, only after this can you ensure you have a chance to rise. No good comes from dying and for your kind you have all the time in the world. So let the mortals have their run while you better cope to the changing world, in the end, you might find the future for vampire that you once knew, or perhaps an even better one. I am by no means saying you are wrong Lidija but perhaps it is better to wait a little while before judging?"
Sedaiyus thought for a moment about her previous comment. He knew of the disturbances she spoke of. They were becoming a serious problem for Sedaiyus. "I know of the events that have led to your awakening. The powers of both good and evil are clashing beyond conflict I have seen in my lifetime. The balance is at a constant shift and in great increments I might add. It is becoming extremely hard to keep in check and I find my challenges to be growing in strength. Things I have only begun to learn of are becoming troublesome challenges like the appearance of angels, reemergence of great magical bloodlines, I have trouble sometimes dealing with these new events as my code does not dictate how to propely act. My teachings of the gardian I once had and my instincts always are at an opposition and I have only just recently chosen to try and find a new path. I am sure it will be better shown if I take you up on your offer." Sedaiyus thought for but a second then smiled as he gazed at Lidija with admiration. Sedaiyus was overwhelmed with excitement which he did well hiding but one could still tell, as well as curiosity when Lidija offered her terms. Sedaiyus gave his hand and followed Lidija to a booth more than willingly. "I have never allowed a vampire to bite me before. My brother once commented that it was a different kind of pleasure that only pain and intimacy mixed with the verge of death and vulnerability could bring. But I am not sure if it would be the same for me as we are two very different individuals he and I. No matter I cannot say I can complain. My first time is a gift I suppose if it is with such a magnificently enticing perfection as yourself. I truly hope I do not disappoint you with what ever it is you might find linked within my blood." Sedaiyus took a deep breath then with an approving grin said softly. "I am yours when you are ready."

Actually considering his words, Lidija let the idea that the humans were more than just slaves bounce around in her head for a moment. He had a very real point, it was their tools that put them on equal ground now, though with a little unity her people could turn those machines against them if she chose. Perhaps it was time to enter the human world, to fight them on a business front, while making biological weapons against them in the dark. That was an idea for another day, first she had to deal with what was on her mind tonight, she needed answers she couldn't find on her own. Sedaiyus might have altered her course this night, set her on a path from simply guiding her kind to setting up a war on humanity.
"Perhaps you are right. I will consider this, after I have what I need tonight." she said, glancing around the bar. She would have to be done here soon, after she extracted her visions from him. The others grew restless and the longer she stayed here the closer they would come to realizing that there was something different amongst them. Even looking at her, like Sedaiyus had deduced, she was so still, so fluid when moving, more so than the others here. Running a hand over his chest, she scooted her smaller frame closer to his as he spoke, drawing in his scent. "It hangs heavy in the air and to those who can hear it there is a call. That is what caused me to rise, you are right. I could practically feel the tension, the rage, and the wil coming off of one being for the destruction of all." she said, thinking about that feeling.
"The appearance of Angels could mean that this world is about to be reborn. I intend to stop that from happening. I will not be unmade." she said, as she brought her face closer to his. "..but if what you say is true, you have not experianced the true pleasure of my kind. Relax, Sedaiyus, enjoy what is to come." she said, pressing her lips gently to his neck. She kissed the warm skin gently, allowing the sensation of his body heat to pass over her colder skin, causing her to shudder with joy. With a quick motion, she quickly undid the buttons of his shirt, before pressing her lips to his chest.
Without warning, her fangs extended and sunk into the skin of his chest, drawing his blood into her. Her eyes turned from a pure silvery/white colour to pitch black as she drank the demon blood. Now she understood him, why he knew more than she had originally assumed he would, and the monster in her hungered for more blood. Visions whipped by as if she was passing by them, the face of a young man she did not recognize, an Angel, a conversation about his age, origins, her origins, and something about a vampire being in love with an Angel. She had even gained a glimpse of her own kind through his eyes, how right he had been, so predictable.
The demon in her twisted, contorted, hungerering for more blood. It didn't matter to her what sort of blood it was. Human, Vampire, Demon, it was all the same to her as she had not truly tasted this much blood or information in such a long time. She wanted to keep going, to bleed him dry, however she remembered that she had made a deal. Slowing herself down, let go, gasping as if she needed to breath when it was simply just an information overload. Her body felt like it was buzzing with energy, there was a soft humming sound in her ears as the blood made her feel as if she was coming back to life. "An Angel, what exactly did she want?" Lidija asked, her visions were fragments, she could not hear the entire exchange.
Almost purring, she licked the wound, the puncture marks healing almost instantly. "At first I had thought you evil, willingly wandering here. Yet you stood face to face with an Angel, you a demon, and did nothing. You are.. something else. I do not know what answers you seek of me or what you could wish to know, but they are yours. Ask what you will, however be warned, some answers might only be found in my blood. To drink from such a pure fount is to invite madness into yourself."

Sedaiyus patiently awaited as Lidija made her remarks to what he said. As she got closer, undid his shirt, and began Sedaiyus's heart beat wildly. He had not experienced anything like this before and his eagerness to learn more and his curiosity far out weighed his weariness of the ordeal. Sedaiyus was confident if things got out of hand, he could quickly react fast enough, and pull himself from harms way. Sedaiyus felt his blood being drained, it was an intense feeling that rushed through his body, his very life was being sucked out yet though painful it was as if he enjoyed this kind of hurt. Sedaiyus was not a masochist by any means and this feeling was somewhat awkward for him. He now however understood why his brother Gabriel enjoyed it so much. Even as an incubus Sedaiyus differed from his brother Gabriel who was a demonic entity of lust itself and realized how Gabriel was drawn to such pleasures more easily than Sedaiyus himself. When Lidija finally pulled herself away and to Sedaiyus it looked as though she had been effected negatively. He almost moves to place his hand upon her to help support her and ask if she was alright perhaps his demonic blood had harmed her unknowingly to her as most vampire found it repulsive compared to humans. He stopped his hand halfway and put it back to his side realizing for one Lidija was probably not the kind of vampire to put his hands upon even with good intent unless given permission and two she was more than alright but no doubt weary from reading his blood.
"Forgive me, for a moment I thought that you may have been harmed. It seems I foolishly underestimated your resolve. I apologize for my mistake." Sedaiyus watched as Lidija healed his wound. He contemplated her words and her questions carefully still trying to piece together some things. "The angel you saw wanted to help me. I owe her a debt for helping me though I don't believe I required her to intervene I certainly learned a great deal because of it thus my debt to her is justified. The world is to be remade? Such a powerful force could not possibly come from a single entity of my kind and certainly not from yours from what I could tell or werewolves or most other supernatural beings. I have not yet witnessed a single witch with such powers either, like my kind, they would need to have a group to umass such power. The only beings I have found to posses such divine might are angels. So a single angel wishes to rewrite this world? I was told they followed the words of god....it doesn't make sense for the end to be upon us now. I must go back to the angel and find out what is going on. Even an angel cannot be allowed to shift the balance of good and evil, I too will prevent this from taking place. When I know more I shall no doubt let you know as well since our goals at least towards this dilemma seem to be the same. That is of course if you allow my company once more after this. I wouldn't want to intrude if you wish me away after today."
Sedaiyus wanted to know everything. He had no greater weak than to seek the knowledge of all but more importantly understand it. If he however could not understand the vast knowledge Lidija possessed but in fact be hampered mentally by it then perhaps he would wait to try to obtain the knowledge from her blood until he was certain he was ready. "I am humbled and blessed by such a gift Lidija. I could not be pleased more than by such a wondrous opportunity. You have my greatest praise that is certain. My first question has to be why you were sleeping in the first place? I know some vampire practice cycling through ages but it isn't common at least from what I can tell. Also, what specifically is your status among your kind? Why do these vampire grow weary of your presence. I do not understand why they would be uncomfortable with their own kin. If anything they should be in awe as I am. Such perfection and elegance I see within you should be a evolutionary goal for vampire not a fear. The breathtaking eyes so beautiful like the full moon radiating the very energy of our sun sparkling in the twilight, how radiantly so, what knowledge and beauty they have witness is unimaginable and for me insatiable to learn. Perhaps perfection is inaccurate, truly you represent something more divine, similar to angels but not from the same source. I want to understand but I cannot condemn myself for such things. I hope you do think ill of my decision to not drink from your blood this day. I do not feel I am worthy of that gift yet." Sedaiyus spoke respectfully honest and perhaps a slight hint of charm.

There was a soft "Ha" as she sorted through the images spinning through her mind. She could hear him, but she was focused on her thoughts for a few minutes before she looked back at him. "You're pardoned, this time." she said and given that there was no laugh or expresson it was hard to tell whether she was serious or not. She was a very peculiar creature. While she did not mind such gestures, often she would have obliterated some of her own kind for even looking at her the wrong way, let alone touching her. Her hand would then quickly shoot forward, stopping to caress his cheek slowly. Staring into his eyes, she looked as if she was searching him for something for a moment before speaking. "You hunger to know everything and in doing so you have ensured that even beings such as myself have a need for you. I will not dismiss you so easily." she said.
"There are those who lurk in the dark, like myself, who would see this world purged of our kind. Angels hear the call of their creator, but they are not always bound to it. Like us, they too are capable of being an individual, thinking for themselves. Have you never read this? They have tried before to control the world, what is." she said, raising her brow. She thought most of the world today was religious, that they understood. There were those however who considered everything written by man to be skewed horribly in favor of being used to control people through fear. "I do not know for sure if a single Angel is behind this, all I know is that something is different, something that I could actually feel. For all my power, I am not a psychic, I do not feel such things normally." she said, licking her lips.
"You are useful to me, I would not push you away so carelessly. Still, being in the debt of an angel is never a good thing. You realize they always come to collect on such things. You will never have a moments peace now, wondering when she will ask you to do some crazy thing to save this or that." she said, waving her hand dismissively. "If one takes a liking to you and attempts to mark you, know that my use for you comes to an end." she stated in a tone of finality. She would have nothing to do with celestial beings, though she figured he would avoid her unless she was necassary as well.
Shifting a bit where she sat, she clicked her tongue softly, spacing off as if to recall past events. "We were hunted once the humans found out what we were. Shadows, demons imitating human life, feeding on it. Even though we controlled most of a country we could not stop them, not without the ability to walk in the light." she said, remembering all the horrific deaths, her children being dragged into the light. "Those of us who were strong were forced underground where we toiled in secret to shelter ourselves and bide our time. None of us realized that the longer we sat there, the more we had begun to petrify. Many of us became living statues, unable to move, falling into a sleep we could not escape on our own." she said, recanting the tale to him.
Lowering her voice, she looked around at the crowd before putting on a wicked grin. "I am an ancient, one of the last few remaining. Thus why I judge them so harshly, even if they did what was necassary to survive. It is not the way I would have chosen for them. We could have done something greater. Technology aids the humans, but it may also aid us as well." she said, ranting once more. "I was known as the Night Mother or the Crimson Queen to most. They most likely grow uneasy because they sense in me something you have no ability to feel. There is a monster inside of us, all of us, however for us it is a more literal statement than one realizes." she said, looking up at the ceiling. Above their booth was a mirror and in said mirror lurked a shadowy apprarition of a woman, piercing white eyes, and fiendish features that made her resemble one of the grotesque demons you would find in the pits of hell.

Trenton walked into Bloodlust with confident strides. He loved that he owned this bar, though he hated that he could only get there during the night. He still hadn't figured out a way to connect an entrance to the sewers so that he could get there during the daytime, though he had to admit, the human he had hired for the day shift was during pretty well. As he entered the club, he noticed two people talking and frowned. He didn't recognize them. Must be new. I will have to keep an eye on them just in case they try to cause trouble, he thought to himself. He didn't have a lot of rules for the club, in fact, he didn't have any...except one: no fighting in the club, take it outside.
Ignoring greetings from various patrons, Trenton walked up to the bar, entered the space behind the counter, and poured himself a tall glass of Bourbon. He'd go hunting a little later, as there were always some humans in the place, but right now, he just wanted a human drink. As began on his glass, he looked around and noted that the couple he had seen when he first came in were still talking. Trenton frowned. Who were they?

Diana had been at Bloodlust for about the entire day already, just taking care of some things there, while at the same time getting her own thoughts straight. She was already getting more urged to call Robert over and have him help her get his mind off it, that was something he was good for too next to now for her plan for Sienna. She had never planned to actually use him for anything except for the orders she gave him as his queen, but things changed, and she had to make sure that they would start changing for the better for them if she wanted to prevent to be totally overpowered by the werewolves and their witch/werewolf hybrid that had grown up way to fast to a teenager, one that she feared would stay around that age forever like usual.
As she had walked out of her office and looked around, she had quickly noticed the two people sitting and talking at the bar, one that she was almost sure about that was a vampire, but not a usual one, that would have been way too easy to recognize for her, after everything, she was still the vampire queen of LA, a job that she took more seriously than she ever had imagined she would. She quickly sneaked to a better position where she kept standing, listening in on their conversation as it was clear soon enough after that that they were actually talking about her, about Trenton, about vampires in general, about the guy and the chick themselves. It still didn't really give her a good feeling, not at all to be honest.
Once she noticed in between eavesdropping that Trenton came in and went to the bar, she narrowed her eyes for a moment, not wanting him to do something stupid or impulsive. For starters he was also a lot easier with the rules and the way things went inside the club than her, if it was up to him the only rule was that there would be no fighting, but with a club full of vampires and desperate or just stupid humans, there were also always worse things than actual death.
Diana quickly made her way to the bar and when standing next to Trenton she grabbed a cocktail mixer and started helping make some of the drinks for a moment. 'I see you've spotted them too.' She said softly to Trenton, before she gave him a look and then turned around, to face the guy and the chick in question, putting the mixer down again for a moment and cocking her head to the side. 'So, you two were talking about me, my right hand and how I'm doing things?' She asked them, clearly with a tone and look that said them that she would expect something like that to rather come straight to her face than having to eavesdrop on it in her own club of all things. 'And you...' Diana started as she looked at the girl and her eyes narrowed in an analyzing manner. 'Do you have any idea how much effort I did and still am putting in mostly keeping our species alive to begin with? After the zombies, the decease, the horsemen, do I have to go on? Not to mention the werewolf situation brewing up by the way.' She said, her pride not letting her say anything else for a moment than that. 'Who are you anyway? There's something... Familiar somehow about you.'

Sedaiyus listened intently to Lidija. He wasn't sure that it was in his best interest to explain his plains for the angel with her. Plus there was no reason to say anymore than was necessary at this point, Lidija saw everything she needed to from his blood, if she had questions she would have asked. Sedaiyus looked up and saw what Lidija had described. Sedaiyus didn't react any one way or another, he only wondered if that was her true form, the purity of it was wondrous but Sedaiyus didn't speculate any more than he normally was. He had been to hell a couple times, he last experience was when his own mother dragged him there, tortured him, and tried to turn him into her own hand of destiny she planned for his brother Gabriel. He himself had a true form, it was quite alluring compared to his human form, different from the attractiveness humans see but compelling none the less. His brothers true form however was quite beautiful, almost angelic, an ironic twist one might add. Sedaiyus distracted with the awe inspiring Lidija had failed to notice Diana show up or Trenton enter the club. It was at this time Sedaiyus realized fully how entranced he had become in Lidija bringing him out of his own very nature which was most observant. This was unsettling for him, he didn't like it very much.
Sedaiyus listened to Diana who was blatantly obvious in that she was listening in on at least part of their conversation was quite stern and overall not pleased. Sedaiyus carefully rose to his feet not too fast or sudden and held up his hands innocently for a moment. "Forgive me queen Diana, such topics were not my intent nor reason for coming here at all. I am Sedaiyus Nikopol and I in fact had come hoping not to bother you all together bringing my small insignificant matter to Trenton and if he deemed it necessary no doubt he would have brought things up to you but I suppose it is a little too late. I was otherwise distracted but I can assure you my purpose here and interests have nothing to do with your kind at all let alone how you are doing ruling over them. Well, save for one specific member of your kind." Sedaiyus held his tongue for the moment not feeling it the best time to reveal he had come there to discuss killing vampire in front of now the king, queen, and an ancient that might not take how he asked too kindly. He had to tread carefully now, he didn't want to be viewed as an aspiring vampire hunter, it was not a title that would allow Sedaiyus to walk out of blood lust alive after all.
There was the matter of Lidija though. Even with all Sedaiyus's great ability to read people, he couldn't see how she would react to Diana. Lidija wasn't one who was used to being subjugated to authority mainly as she was and always had been that authority. But things have changed, surely she must have realized that. Would she be so forgiving? Why did Sedaiyus even care? The affairs of vampire were not his concern at all. Then again he did owe Marina a favor and Trenton was her love. Sedaiyus couldn't no doubt allow anything to happen to him especially if it was partly Sedaiyus's fault this incident occurred. Sedaiyus put his hands down to his side and cleared his throat looking o Lidija trying to be prepared for anything. "The things that must be discussed between you three would not involve me. Perhaps I should go and let the affairs of vampire remain among vampire?" Sedaiyus said trying to hint to Lidija that she should first discuss things over with the queen and king of vampire of L.A. before doing anything and trying to find an escape route for himself without making it appear so obvious.

With how intense everything was getting it was no small wonder that Marina would come to Bloodlust on this night to speak to Diana of Pyriel. The demonic angel had tried to attack her and she was not exactly feeling the most charitable towards him, truth be told. With this in mind she slipped into Bloodlust and made quiet conversation with those who would speak with her as she made her way to Trenton and Diana. Glancing over at the direction of their gaze she saw Sedaiyus and a new face, though the weight of Lidija's personage had her take a step back and slightly behind Trenton.
This was not something she was expecting and so she waited quietly for a lull in the conversation, "It is good to see you, Sedaiyus." she nodded politely to him as he spoke of leaving. She could sense Diana was upset and she looked up at her, "Is everything alright, Mother?" she said the last softly, respectfully. Not wishing to inflame an already tense situation. She did move closer to Trent, "Trenton?" she said with a gentle curiosity in her tone as she noticed that he seemed to be feeling tense from a long day. Cautiously she patted his hand, not wanting to tangle him up in any way in case things got ugly.

The moment she realized that someone was listening she smiled, it seemed that she wouldn't have to go very far to find the people she was looking for. Good things truly did come to those who waited, as they saying went. Shifting her focus from the mirror above, she looked at Sedaiyus for a moment before turning her gaze to Diana. If there was one thing she had found that did not disappointed her yet, it was the beauty of the vampires she had come across so far.
"Do not presume the entire world revolves around your small corner. I speak of all who have chosen to preside over the split covens of the world. I was simply rewarding my friend here with a bit of insight, no harm done." she said, tilting her head to the side as she watched the two, soon to be three of them. "Sedaiyus has made me aware of the effort required to stay alive in these times. Though disease, that is a new bit of information, I am intrigued." she said, raising a brow.
Such a thing could be studied, perhaps part of it could be used to cultivate an even worse weapon. There was a soft chuckle as she got to her feet, both of them bare and still dirty from her awakening. "..and under who's watch are these problems rising?" she asked, before shaking her head. "But enough of this, I did not come all this way to place blame or to challenge anyone. I was merely interested in seeing this King and Queen and now I have done so." she said, waving he rhand.
After she was done addressing Diana, her attention snapped to Marina. This was a face she recognized, yes, one of the people from the visions. She was the angel who spoke to Sedaiyus, though a name she had not been able to glean. "You, I have questions for you as well." she said, raising a pale finger to point in Marina's direction. "Perhaps another time, in a more private locale?" she asked, smirking slightly.
Diana's final question almost provoked Lidja's ego, however she held herself in check. There was a time and place for everything and it was not now. "I am an ancient, I have travlled across the sea to see to it that our kind remains strong here. Our territories in this country have been neglected in comparison if your pest problem holds true." she said. A flimsy lie at best, but it would have to suffice for now. "Our history would also mention a keeper, a vampire who guards ancient secrets, if you wish to know more, do some digging." she teased.

After finishing his drink, Trenton pondered getting another, even as he listened to the couple talking. Then, Diana came up beside him and commenting that he had noticed the guy and girl as well. "Yes. The woman appears to be one of us...but different," he murmured in response. Then, he let out small chuckle at her blatant question to the woman. Leave it to Diana to get straight to the point. He had to admit, he was curious himself. After all, if either were a threat to Marina, he needed to know. Okay, he cared about her "brother" too, but that was only because he was important to Marina. Not that Luke was so bad for a human...Trenton mentally shook the thoughts away. He needed to focus!
Now Diana was going off on them about how much effort she had gone through to keep the vampire community safe throughout everything. Trenton abandoned his drink and went to stand by Diana, showing her his support, but not saying anything, knowing that it would be better for him to remain silent. At the mention of growing werewolf problem, Trenton frowned. Yeah, that was something they could do without. Especially Marina's ex, Phillip. Not that he was as anti-werewolf as he used to be ten years ago. After all, you couldn't team up with a species a couple of times without coming to at least tolerate them. Well, a select few, anyways. Not really the species as a whole... "One in particular: Phillip," Trenton chimed in, growling at the name. He still hadn't forgiven him for sneaking off with Marina amidst the chaos of the Halloween party. However, he kept quiet about Daryl, who was one of the few wolves he did tolerate.
He then nodded in agreement when Diana stated that there was something familiar about the female. But what was it? He had a feeling that this would bother him for quite awhile unless they got an answer.
When the male spoke, Trenton turned to him, ready to pounce if Diana indicated the need. However, the man was nothing but respectful in his manner, saying that he hadn't meant any offense and had no business with their kind, save one. "Oh?" he asked, keeping his tone civil.
Trenton was momentarily distracted by Marina's entrance. What was she doing here? He watched as she greeted the man, speaking to him cordially. She knew him? Bella, do you trust this man? he queried curiously, but not accusingly. When spoke his name in concern, he gave a small smile. "Long day. I am fine," he assured. Then, the other vampire began speaking and Trenton once again turned to her, ready to strike at a moment's notice. His misgivings about the male had subsided a tiny bit though not much, but he still had no clue about the vampire in front of him and Diana.
At the tone of voice from her, Trenton could feel a growl rising up, but he pushed it down. Something told him that if he attacked now, it would go badly---definitely for him, and maybe even for Marina and Diana. And he would never place them in danger. After her speech, the female vampire stood up and then answered Diana's question: she was an ancient vampire and that if they had anymore questions, they should do some digging. Trenton nodded politely before scanning his club. Now he really needed to feed.
