STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Able to portray any type of person you can think of: Trent is an extremely old vampire and has used his time to study humans in order to better blend in with them, portraying whatever type of person he needs to. For example, if he was luring in a shy, studios girl, he would make himself seem harmless and bookish, a skill he still utilizes today.
- Can hypnotize people easily: one of the powers that Trent uses the most is the power of compulsion, which makes anyone do whatever he says. However, he can't use this power on anyone with even a hint of supernatural blood, though the power's grown slightly stronger in the last ten years.
- Is extremely seductive: Trent has an air about him that draws people---especially girls---close to him, even without his compulsion powers, which he uses constantly when hunting, but not so much when he's passing himself off as human.
- Incredibly strong and fast: he was physically fit before he became a vampire, and afterwards, the strength was amplified, giving him an edge over his opponents. He also has the basic vampire speed which he uses to launch an attack and then flee before being noticed. Now he uses it more when he's hunting or doing something sweet for Marina and trying to keep it from her (such as lighting candles while she's in another room).
- Can read minds: To a certain extent, Trent can read a person's mind, though it's not a strong power. He has to be really concentrating on the person and can't hold on to the thought for very long. Though he still has to concentrate to read a person's thought, he can hold onto the thought for a little while longer
WEAKNESSES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Pyrophobic: even before he became a vampire, Trent had an intense fear of fire, and it was amplified after he became a vampire, especially since fire can destroy a vampire if they're not careful, though now he's managed to control that fear to a certain extent.
- Certain religious symbols: though not entirely bound by them, specific religious symbols such as crosses and holy water can weaken him if they touch him or make him sick if ingested.
- Feelings of intense emotions: though it's very rare, Trent has been known to succumb to his emotions, which has given a victim the chance to get away, or has given an enemy the upper hand during a battle. He also show more emotions around Marina and Diana, letting in his humanity, rather than suppressing it
- Ashwood Bark: Early in his vampire life, Trent learned that the the bark of a tree known as Ashwood had the ability to weaken him if he came into contact with it and has since then steered clear of it to the best of his abilities.
- Can be impulsive: though mainly a strategic and cunning planner, there have been times when Trent has acted on impulse, which has then blown up in his face, such as a plan going south. He is also more prone to act rashly if Marina is placed in danger.
Marina: He'd do anything for her and his concern for her well-being has placed him in harm's way a few times.
LIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Destruction: One thing that hasn't changed in ten years is Trenton's love for destruction and chaos. However, as Vampire King and as a favor to Marina, he has toned down the amount of destruction that he causes.
- Blood that's laced with emotion: when a person is frightened, their pulse quickens, which excites Trent and causes him to go into a frenzy. However, the blood-frenzy has died somewhat over the years, though he still enjoys a good chase.
- Reading: not a well-known fact, but he does once in a while enjoy a good book.
- Being in charge: He worked hard to get to the top and he's not going to give it up any time soon.
- Killing hunters: They always mess up his plans and therefore deserve to be killed, though he's grown to tolerate some.
DISLIKES
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
- Being told that he can't do something: he's an immortal and ruling LA. He can do whatever he dang well pleases.
- Phonies, liars, or fakes: ironic since he often lies to his victims, pretending to be something he's not. Marina's ex Phillip is seen as such and therefore, Trenton dislikes him with a passion.
- Hunters: they're always messing up his plans. The only good hunter is a dead hunter. For the most part, he still feels this way, though there have been a couple of hunters he's learned to tolerate.
- Disloyalty in minions; He's the leader of the vampire community and he needs his followers and lesser vampires to do what he says without question. If they can't do that, then they're better off dead, just like a hunter.
- Being one-upped: After all, he's running things now and everyone should know who's in charge.
HISTORY
[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Trent has been around for a long time, however, no one's really sure how old he really is. He can't even remember a time when he wasn't a vampire, but he figures that it must've been a while since there are only a few things that affect him (such as Ashwood and certain religious objects). He has almost completely forgotten his human life such as who his parents were, if he had any siblings, and the like. However, he is still able to fit in with humans if he so desires, indicating that on some level, he is able to relate to humans enough that he can blend in. Now that he's the leader of the vampire community along with Diana, he has somewhat toned down his destructive behavior, though not by much.
A lot has happened in ten years. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were raised and caused massive destructive, forcing Trenton to make alliances he did not quite relish, and many vampires were lost. Even Trenton barely squeaked by. He now co-owns the bar Bloodlust and looks over the vampire populous of Los Angeles, at times acting as a "father figure" though he'd never admit it. Understanding that a Supernatural creature's survival depends on secrecy, Trenton has made it his business to know about anyone with powers, people with associations with werewolves or other vampires, and who could possibly be a threat. After all, there are times when the enemy of an enemy is a friend, as well as situations that may require an unlikely alliance and Trenton wants to be ready for anything.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Like before, Trent is going to be extremely goal-oriented, this time though, the plan is two-fold: 1: make sure no one tries to usurp him or Diana as King and Queen of the vampire community and 2: checking to make sure that their existence is not threatened. As before, Trenton will enroll in high school and/or college looking for victims and recruits, but he won't be quite as heartless.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
One thing that has changed in Trent is that he has allowed more of his humanity to show when he's around certain people. That's not to say that he won't still rip out a throat if he gets a mind to, cause he will, but he will allow select people such as Diana and Marina to see the good side of him.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE GOES HERE
From the shadows the parking lot, Trent watched the girl through narrowed eyes. She was a friend of the hunters, he could smell them all over her. His eyes flashed. Those stupid hunters had been a foil to him for far too long. He needed to send them a message. A smirk appeared on his features as he got an idea. Then, he silently hurried towards her. When he was close enough, he reached out for her, intending to grab her and place his hand over her mouth to silence her. If everything went according to plan, he'd leave her body on the hunters' front door in the morning as a warning.
