STRENGTHS
[/BLOCKQUOTE][/li][/ul]
- Determined – Growing up homeless makes you stubborn and have a bit of grit to you and Bree wears it like a banner
- Singing – Like every kid in L.A she keeps waiting for that big break for fame and with her pipes it may just happen.
- Hand to hand combat – One of the first things she learned was how to defend herself on the streets. She’s a mean lil cuss when she needs to be.
- Street smart
- Thinks fast on her feet. – A byproduct of the streets ya gotta think fast if you wanna survive and this trait has stayed with her.
- Kind and Loving – For a kid that has no family, she learned to make and keep friends very quickly. She loves everyone because she knows how hard it is out there.
- Street connections – She has her connections and knows things folks wouldn’t ever want her to. Just because she doesn’t take advantage of it doesn’t mean she doesn’t know where to find things that can be useful just don’t ask where she got it from…

HISTORY
Its hard growing up homeless with no parents but somehow, Bree managed it without being sold into prostitution or giving into drugs. It may have been the kid was just lucky or that folks thought she had some sort of specialness about her that they didn’t understand. Whatever the reason Bree had it and with this and a few good homeless friends, she traveled the country. After all, you can’t stay in the South forever. It gets way too humid there some summers. With this in mind Bree followed the migratory patterns of the homeless traveling West to avoid the cold in the winter and staying where they knew there was shelter. She’d seen a lot of hardships in the world, the economy was crap and more people than ever before were out on the street. Not onies or twosies but whole families trying to get by and living out of their cars. That hurt her soul, not that she was overly religious, after all, she couldn’t wrap her head around a God that seemed to be so fickle but still she cared and it hurt her deep down. Someday she vowed she’d make the world a better place. And then one day she realized she could, it started small, getting the vending machines to cough up free stuff, the occasional quirky ATM that spat out cash for her to rent a hotel room, shower and maybe get some clean clothes and go to the Laundromat.[/BLOCKQUOTE]
Then it grew. The streetlights would flicker if she was creeped out when someone tried to mark her or when a guy that was way too pale looked at her funny (she would later find out they were vampires). Funny, some folks that bugged her turned into dust when this purple energy shot through her hands when she was scared. She could have sworn they had fangs too but that was that twilight crap the middle class adored.
Then Catherine came along when she was six and with forged identity papers gave her a new life. Strong and generous and loving and Bree blossomed under the attention. Suddenly she had a purpose which she loved and School which was okay given that she could sing and learn stuff. She studied at night and eventually caught up to her grade level so she wasn’t ostracized at school for being homeless and stupid. She ended up having to fight many playground battles in the desire to prove she was better than the middle class softies that complained their life was so hard cause their mom took their computer away. Hard indeed. She’d have sold that in a heart beat for a month worth of food.
Everything was going great She had Honey and her brothers Jaxon and Parker. They were finally a family, at least till she found Catherine dead and her blood painting the walls. She didn’t know when she stopped screaming, didn’t even realize when the doctors doped her up and she woke up with Parker holding her hand and smelling of Marlboros. She hated that he smoked, but right now it was something familiar for him and she didn’t have the hart to fuss at him when she was scared and uncertain. She half expected to end up on the street again but the others wouldn’t hear of such talk. They were still a family in spite of what happened to Catherine and they would find out why this happened to them.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Bree will learn not only about herself and her special place in the world but her gifts. When she finds out she is a being of pure energy she will have a crisis of faith but slowly come back to her family that matters.[/BLOCKQUOTE]

She didn’t know how long she’d been at that street corner singing. All she knew was that Angel was rocking out on this pickle tub and she was doing a cover of “Being Myself” by Martina McBride when this woman dropped a 20 spot in the hat they had on the street corner. She was wary of course; she knew what some folks would do to a kid on the streets but every day Catherine was there with money for food, rent and clothes. She must have forked out nearly a thousand dollars. At least till the day a bunch of demons came looking for a good time. Being a strong little kid she’d done her best to kick the crap out of them but they only staggered back and turned into their demonic form So not cool! Then from out of no where this woman with telekinesis the woman known as Catherine, began kicking all their asses.[/color]
That was about an hour ago. As Bree dried her hair in the bathroom and changed into clean clothes she wondered when the other shoe would drop but somehow it never did. Now, looking down on the city, she saw a kid much like she had been, scared and alone and with renewed purpose she teleported down to wail on some demon butt vanquishing them in a bolt of purple energy before kneeling in front of the scared kid and smiling, “Come on. I know this place that gives kids a good home.” She said as she held out her hand for the other girl, the young ones nails as gnawed and dirty as her own had been so long ago.
